HI all, I'm currently mid way through the Marvel Zombie series (and really enjoying it) got me thinking - what is your favourite Marvel Series/one shot?

Marvels - pretty but lacked depth but then it was about the humans not the superheroes.

Wow, I've read loads but if I had to pick one that stands out I would always jump to "Havok & Wolverine: Meltdown".
I read it when it came out and I'd never seen anything like it before, the artwork was amazing for a "comic" book.

I always liked Kitty Pryde and Wolverine. It must have been one of the first LS i got, atrwork is really scrappy, but I loved the story and have read it many times since.

Also got a soft spot for the first West Coast Avengers series when Hawkeye got the team together.

There was also an X-Men/New Mutants story that ran in some special editions and annuals. It involved Loki and Asgard, I think Storm became a Thunder God, and there was some superb Arthur Adams art. I have it boxed up somewhere, I may need to dig it out again!

It was great!

I stopped buying comics about 3 years ago, but I've just looked at that hardcover on Amazon and I'm tempted. I forgot about the Alpha Flight/X-Men part of the story, although I know I have it somewhere.

For me, it's still the original Marvel limited series-1982's Marvel Superheroes Contest of Champions! Though I also have a soft spot for Marvel Superheroes Secret Wars, Bob Layton's Hercules series and the original four part Vision & the Scarlet Witch.

Squadren Supreme - the original series was very good and Magic from way back in the 80s.
