Leon - should go soon!

He was rather poor in this task:

1) He laughed at Glenn's Catsize idea.

2) He moaned about spending five hours doing the pitch,

3) He moaned about the pitch being 20 mins long.

4) His pitch was relatively poor. Okay, he was nervous, that's understandable, but he kept sayin "y,know" and "er.. ummm." Inspiring, he wasn't!

He also moaned last week with the spray-on tan on the guy. "Ooh, I can't do that, my girlfriend might watch this!"

He's a right moaner, not a true team player! He should go.

I actually, truly, felt sorry for Glenn over this task. Half his team seemingly done absolutely nothing but mock him and show him disrespect this episode.

On topic; Leon's days are surely numbered. His pitch was just dire - if he spent 5hours preparing his pitch then why did it seem like a 5 minute rush-job; someone was slacking me thinks.

I would agree, but I laughed so hard when he insulted the sphinx cat

You're far too kind - it wasn't relatively poor, it was embarrassingly SHIT! I was disappointed his team didn't lose because I wanted him to be hauled over the coals for that abysmal performance. Bloody hell, I remember debates at school where people spoke (a lot) more eloquently than that pile of poo he had the temerity to spout!

Agree with all your points, btw!

I didn't, that half of the team, came up with a idea that the focus group liked which wasn't even considered because of Glenn's ego and terrible idea. It was luck that his team won. That said I really don't like Leon, but I feel he will be the Chris of this year. I think unfortunately Glenn will make it far as well.

God knows why, the pair of them are completely useless and totally unlikeable.

I don't agree with you about Leon being like Chris though - at least Chris had half a brain cell and was actually quite funny at times. Leon is completely vacuous.

I must say catsize is no name for a slimming product. Just imagine it was for people. Like waist size or something similar. Would anyone buy it. The every name was them trying to be clever and thinking they could develop a product for every dog. It may be a good idea but certain things are impossible which this team didnt realise. And to make an impossible product wont win you the task. In almost every series they just get the product wrong! Is it that difficult. Mind you LS with his emailer has also got products wrong.

Quite right too. It was poor. Glenn should have listened and picked a better name.

He was concerned about being side-lined. He wanted to contribute more.

He knows his strengths. He wasn't the greatest at delivering the pitch. Glenn should have listened and picked someone else.

His delivery was poor. However, the content was excellent and a large part of what won it for the. The advert was poor (that he wasn't involved it), but the campaign was good, and the pitch communicated the campaign.

But then he did pitch in and contributed a lot to that win.

I wouldn't compare him with Chris either; Chris was intelligent and strategic about what he did, but I don't see any of that in Leon. I don't see anything at all in Leon actually, but he seems quite popular around here....

Is he really? Why?!?!?! There was a thread in the first week about him being 'fit' (LMAO!!) but I was on the side of those who find him repulsive and a cross between Bobby Ewing and someone else, who for the moment escapes my memory (probably cos my brain is trying to protect me from trauma!!)

Leon was an awful PM and he seems to need to be moddycoddled which is not going to get you far on the Apprentice.

He complained Zoe did not give him enough support last week in the boardroom(only one who criticised her as PM) for his whole issue with selling the product and this week he was saying likewise on the pitch. Most apprentice candidates would love the opportunity to be given a pitch and have the chance to sell. It's part of the bloody competition.

Overall though his performances, bar the awful PM performance, have been respectable, especially on the selling task last week.
