No. She's playing on that grin and it's already pissing me off.

When they get rid of real talent like that cyclist, and she gets through, something has gone horribly wrong.

I prefer to see her rather than the cyclist. He was good, but once you've seen it.....

First of all a confession . I have never watched BGT, it is everything I abhor about the entertainment industry and Simon Cowell is a leech. But I have just watched 2 clips of Jean Martin and it was the most horrendous noise I have ever heard. There was nothing subtle about it and it was just bang out as much effects as she can. She runs her fingers down the keyboard and reacts as if she has just played the greatest piece of music ever written. If she is an example of the kind of act that gets to a final then god help the music industry.

PERsonally speaking, I didn't find Jean in the least entertaining, in fact I found her highly irritating. However, the people who DID like her, voted for her and she duly made it into the final. Fair do's I spose.

HowEVER - the thing that really really annoys me is when ppl on the show (the judges and Ant and Dec) keep on about how "EVERYONE loves her", "the WHOLE nation fell in love with the smile", etc etc etc. I hate generalisations like that, and unfortunately I find myself shouting at the telly "I DON'T!!" and "I DIDN'T!!!" etc.

Can I add an addendum to my previous post? I forgot to say that her timing was so way off that I failed to recognise the tunes she was playing, it was so bad.

I thought I might come in for some flack with my original post but it seems the majority agree.

Couldn't agree more! And I'm starting to believe the 3rd and 4th placed acts would make a more varied and enjoyable final!

PS pleased to see the bell ringers see off yet another average street dance troop
