How dare he talk to them like that with his "back on planet Earth" comment, it was very rude of him and they played a difficult piece in an unsual way, which although I'd seen something like it before I sit up and go "That's really clever"
I didn't see the dancer I'm afraid, I'm sure he was good but I find it sad that he would dismiss something that was just a bit unusual
What the bell ringers did shows they are talented too.

Bill Bailey's Guide to the Orchestra had something similar playing music on cowbells.

Perhaps what the OP meant was Simon Cowel is a moron with no taste or eye for talent, he ONLY sees potential money making acts, he'll see a singer etc, and see how he can market them. He has NEVER been able to look at real talent and judge it for what it is. He doesn't "get" any acts which are a bit "out there", because at the end of the day he is lucky, right place, right time, and is given god like status.

Simon had a nerve to lump the bell ringers in with all the bad acts.

What that couple did last night was excellent. Simon should make an apology to them. He was an utter disgrace last night.

was that why he constantly put down Jedward, who seem to be the ones making the most money out of all the acts from that XF season, with winner Joe flat on his nose and runner-up Olly (who i like, i should add) now doing 2nd rate TV presenting, yes?

Mr Walsh will be pleased he got such an easy access to that cash cow.

we are talking BGT, where something like an x-factor actually counts even more than on XF, anything can be milked, recall Diverstiy? one of my kids went mad and prolly got every bit of merchandise they had on the shelf.

and seriuosly, cow bell ringing? did i do a time warp to the1950s, a reality shift, or what happened?

I don't think Simon was that bad to them, the problem was all the hype around the dancer, It was so obvious the impressionist was going through, and I would not have NOT put money on the bell ringers being in the top 3, I do reckon the Queen would prefer the bell ringers over the dancing kid. Last night the list of performers were poor, don't think the producers have got the correct 'talent' or 'no talent' right.

They were excellent imo. Different and enjoying them-selves. Simon was worried that if they got through to the finals they might just win and he wouldn't know what to do with them.

Simon was seriously rude to the bell ringers. What planet is he on!

The piece they played was very complex and they did it very well. It amazed me how they managed to make sure they put down the bells in the correct place every time. I for one would of loved to have seen what piece they would play in the final. I bet that when you watch the dancer boy again, you won't be able to see that his performance is any different to what he did last night.

Simon blatently said he all he wanted to do was find a Superstar! I'm sure BGT is actually supposed to be about finding a variety act to showcase at the Royal Variety Performance. Is it not??????

All he is interested in is making money, and his comment last night 100% proved that.

Shame on Simon for his attitude, because I really enjoyed their clever act.

They were so gracious in their defeat.

Totally agree with what you said It seems ironic to me that Cowell is a music mogul/businessman who doesnt really like music.
