Do you think Zoe, Leon and the other one apologised to Glenn?

I wonder whether the 'Lucky Fish' team apologised to Glenn when they won the task. Yes he steamrollered his idea over theirs and the strapline was gramatically dire but they came up with a product that did what it said on the tin and clearly targeted a niche. Once the decision was made they should have backed him up.

On that basis I can't honestly say I would have been able to participate in the winners' prize without clearing the air if it was me. That said it was probably the lamest prize so far. Leon clearly isn't a tennis player!

Whats to apologize for? They went to a focus group, did the research, and then Glenn got totally lucky and bulldozed his idea through.

Although he may have been right, the way he went about it was totally wrong, and you can only chance your arm so many times in business before you get burnt.

So in my opinion they have nothing to apologize for.

Fair enough but the way they went about it was wrong in my opinion. Having laughed at him, hung up the phone and continued to whinge about the idea that won them the task while they were recording the advert demanded an apology or at least a clearing of the air.

Lucky fish was a pretty bad idea as well imo.

I did wonder if they apologised. I actually thought his TV advert was better than Everydogs but maybe I'm missing something. and the fact that he managed the package design probably gave them the edge.

I think his team won inspite of being lumbered with Glenn as PM. The only reason the other team failed is due to the concept. They were stronger than Glenn's team in every other factor.

Glenn's claimed creativity seems to be limited to puns. "Cat size" was OK, but "see their light" was wrong on several levels. When other ideas were needed Glenn didn't have any. "Lucky Fish" could have worked as a brand, and certainly would have made in a better TV ad than the truly terrible one they came up with for Cat Size.

His leadership was terrible (another from the "I'm PM I deserve respect" mould). Zoe showed herself to be a more natural leader in the way she calmly turned his attempt to assert his authority back on him (mind you she made the same mistake herself last week).

No reason to apologise at all. Glenn's idea was completely bongus. Lord Sugar just had his claws on Jim (and Vincent), so let Glenn's team go instead.

Glenn should be shot for calling himself a creative person. You have to give it to him that he got the pouch thing going and the colour of packaging of the cat food was pleasing. But the name and the slogan, complete rubbish. He's just lucky, plain and simple.

They should have apologised for Glenn having no sense of humour.

I must say I used to quite like Glenn, but after last night, I think he has quite a big head!!

cat size = cat's eyes - geddit?

see their light = see they're light, yeah?

good pouchy packaging, better graphics and a niche market won the task, not the puns.
