I don't think Ellie should have been fired tonight as she did nothing wrong. I think Vince took both her and Natasha in as they had been in the previous week and he should have taken Jim in.

LS said their advert was actually better than the other teams and that is what both Natasha and Ellie worked on so they definitely shouldn't have been taken in. I think LS should have given Ellie another chance and made her PM next week so she had a chance to shine. She is the most down to earth in there which is a good skill to have in business as she is obviously a people person and a good team player.

na, ellie had 5 weeks to shine, she's not assertiv enough and looked out of her depth

LS as good as TOLD Vincent to bring Jim back - and he didn't....

Neither Ellie nor Natasha deserved to be there as they were responsible for the best part of the task - the advert. It should have been Jim and either Melody or Tom.... although Tom is the Cassandra of this series!

I really liked Ellie as a person and think she would be great to work for, but sadly, I think ( to use LS's expression) her "cards were marked" last week. He basically warned that she had to be more assertive and make a more positive contribution to the task - which sadly she didn't. I think Vincent was stuck badly as he couldn't really take Melody in - as she did a competent job at the pitch, Tom could argue effectively that he was the voice of reason ( but this is fast becoming a failing as he just can't get his voice heard). He shouldn't have taken Nastasha in at all.

He should have taken Jim and Ellie and if he had done so, Ellie would still have gone.

Sadly, I think there are far weaker candidates in the other team - but they seem to always win " by hook or by crook". Glenn, Edna and Susan are all weaker than ANY of Team Logic.

I do like Ellie as a person, but I think she did deserve to go... potentially even the week before.

I give credit to Vincent in bringing back 2 people who havent contributed much to the show, or show what they could do. Both Ellie and Natasha are lucky their teams have been winning, I cant see Natasha lasting much longer unless she ups her game.

Personally I would of fired all three of them last night, however Ellie was right to go, at least Natasha did make the better video last night

Vincent was okay PM, he had more respect that Glenn, however he made a fatal error, and of course he was on the losing side 5 weeks in a row (tom is screwed as well).

Personally I have not liked Jim from the start, however he has shown more than half these people, will just see how he does as PM

I didnt see much of Ellie at all and I think she deserved to go, plus her accent was lethal, where is she from??

She deserved to go last week in my opinion.

I agree there are much weaker candidates on the other team. Sometimes on this show people can stay in it for a long time and not do much but happen to be on the winning team. Ellie was on the losing team 3 times and taken in the boardroom twice, both times strategically too. The audience of your fired clearly agreed as less than half held up fired.

Her accent was brill, from Bradford. It's about time we had some down-to-earth Northerners on the show!

Ellie deserved to go, of the members of Logic her time was up.
She'd had five weeks to make her mark but in the end just didn't create the necessary impact to succeed in the process.

What really annoyed me about her being fired was the excuse that she had a small dog so should know better ?
So she was suddenly an expert on dog food and branding because she has a dog.

Aye it seemed like a desperate attempt to pin something on her to justify it.

I liked Ellie - I think she had more sense than a lot of the other numptys, although she said herself she probably wasn't forceful enough.

Maybe this was referred to on You're Fired and I didn't see it, but anyone know what the story was with her just heading out the door after being fired and not waiting to be either snubbed or sympathised with?

Ellie was a dullard. 'I'm not a girly girl' she said over and over last week about the task. So what.

Boring and woeful, had to get rid.

Agree it was terrible justification. She definitely shouldn't have been fired before Vincent, if at all...

Didn't come up on You're Fired, her full taxi footage showed she just left without hanging about.

Another agreement here, especially seeing as Vincent paid NO attention to the vet and the dog-walkers anyway, so why would it even matter to him if his team had a reason to know more about dogs? He was stubborn enough to run with his idea in the face of negative comments from a focus group, what would Ellie have been able to do to get past this??

Just goes to show that you are not fired for something you did or didn't do on the task, but because your card is already marked, which in the case of Ellie I think is correct.

The only thing I remember her for is saying off camera or in the boardroom that her voice wasn't heard, but on the task she was quick enough to be overshouted, so I think she might have wanted to use it as a strategy ( I díd say it, but it was dismissed...etc).

Full of excuses every time: I'm not a sales person and the pm knew this; I'm not a girly girl so don't expect much of me when it comes to beauty treatments etc....

She reminded me a bit of Sharon Mc Allister from series 2.

Yes, just wondering whether she forgot in the heat of the moment, or deliberately didn't want to see any of them, or was directed to because two people were being fired.

The filming is so tightly controlled there is no way she could just 'forget'.

Also of note was that she left by the other door!

I don't recollect seeing anyone leave by that door before. Come to that I don't recollect ever seeing anyone go through a door to exit the waiting area.

(Of course, that could just be faulty recollection on my part. )

Yeah she seemed so, although when they showed the clips of her in the show, there were some unseen off-task clips dancing, relaxing in a vest and jeans, hair tied back, I had to squint my eyes to make sure it was her!

I can see why she went but I think she would have really shone in next weeks task, that's her domain.

I actually diagree. I think she should have gone. Whereas Natasha really took charge of the commercial, Ellie didn't do much.

Do you think that she shouldn't have been fired from a viewers perspective or because you're Ellie's sister?

I don't think she should have been fired simply because if you think that someone is 'not showing', the obvious answer is to make them PM.

As he already had one person to fire: Vincent, it would have made far more sense to make Ellie PM for the next task to see if she performed.

It takes some people a bit of time to handle the mouthy, aggressive, types - particularly in a non-hierarchical situation, if they are not used to working with them. This does not mean that they are useless, just that they have a different style.

Helen, Felicity and Ellie (and probably Tom) are four who need/needed to be made PM to test their mettle.
