I saw it but decided to ignore it. My thoughts are that it contradicts what the band said on that YT video at the Kerrang! Awards about being flattered by people covering their songs. Until I see some video footage of them saying that, then I don't believe they said it. Why should we believe the accuracy of a Contact Music writer anymore than we believe everything we read in the DF/NOTW etc.

I have noticed that particular word in it also - Stella seems to play a large part in his life, in more ways than one.

Perhaps they've changed their tune because they were annoyed about the way their comments were reported - so have gone completely the other way now.

I really cant believe they would have said all that! Matt made them a lot of money, and they have certainly gained notoriety since the single so it just seems inconcievable that they would go back on whats been said before!

Well they want to 'live' off the Matt thing for as long as is possible I suppose they are not going to get noticed otherwise. I wonder what they are going to do after a while they cannot continue to be like this its showing them up unless someone is putting words in their mouth ..........it makes them look ...........

Yes Matt did make them a lot of money via the royalties and I beleive it was mentioned at the Kerrang Awards that they onr one of them had purchased a boat/yatch. Making them look a bit off if this is true.

Yep it is wrong - hope Matt won't be upset by it - he seemed happy to have met them last week. Hopefully once his own music comes out people will stop talking about it.

I haven't a clue about their reputation (they are that well known..........) but this bit of the article:

This smacks to me of being the exact words one of the twitter haters would use. It actually sounds like the sort of stuff I would expect to hear from a young teenager, not the quite softly spoken eloquent guys that were in the YT video. So, as I said earlier, I won't believe they said that any more than I would take it as gospel if it were in a tabloid. Talking of which, the first part of the above quote says that "Neil tells Britain's The Sun" - making it sound that this is not the result of an interview that Contact Music have done themselves. It also leaves the question which article in The Sun is this lifted from? because I haven't seen that before.

Toasted thats a positive YT and it makes them look m good. However what is interesting is that the interviewer says that Matt has done a lot of work for promoting the song so really they are very lucky. xx
