Spoiler

Unrealitytv has an article on it, and I copied and pasted the link but deleted it as it didn't work when I tried it.

They may be making it up, I read that article but how can they know if Simon hasn't told anyone? He won't have told the press if it's a big announcement.

the biker, magic act and bell ringers are better than any of acts to have gone through so far imo

Because that wasn't predictable... people called that yesterday..

Rather two wildcards though so we could have both Joe and David/Karen through but ah well.

Wildcard - I'll translate that for you ....... the public messed up ITV's desired lineup, so they are ignoring the public and sticking the acts they like in.

Its a complete farce.

I'm sure the magicians will be put through. The producers know that many good magicians steer clear of BGT because they get a rough ride but how can you have variety without magic acts?

I suspect this is just so Simon can tell them off for missing someone that should have gone through so Simon can look like the hero bringing someone back.

he's done all this before, I think he's running out of ideas

I thought this was pretty obvious last night when he said one of them may not be out yet.

This isn't true. I heard from a show insider that what's actually going to happen is this:-

Simon's going to announce that he's Michael McIntyre's real father (a bit like Skywalker & Darth Vader).

He was conceived when Simon met Dawn French at a party & she laced his Babycham with Rohypnol & viagra & raped him.

Michael will respond with a beaming smile & "I love it" as that's how he responds to everything. THe Hoff will get confused & think Simon's talking about him & start spouting nonsense before realising no-one actually listens to anything he says. Amanda will just sit there, cackle & give a resounding yes to a passing fly being put through to the final.

Simon's then going to serenade Dec with Whitney's, "I will always love you" before declaring his undying love for him & asking him to elope then & there.

When Dec rejects his advances Simon will run out crying like a big jessie & call Louis Walsh to come & pick him up in his gold-plaited Robin Reliant with pink interior.

Louis will take him home to Ryan Seacrest & they'll all live together on an island somewhere in a weird menage a trois never to be seen again.

Its true. A senior Syco exec told me

Or I suppose it could be a wildcard.

an anonymous source at Syco told me hes going to shoot ping pongs from his asshole.

It must be true because the email said it was

At least there'd be some talent in the final then!

Well, I've just seen Michael Moral on an advert for the BGT tour along with many of the other semi-finalists/finalists, so that's a possibility

I doubt that'd be breaking news or anything surprising... anyway she should be nowhere near the BGT final... it's going to be wildcard's with either Joe or David/Karen earning a place in the final and rightly so as well.

I agree with you, although IMO they are better than most, but not better than the impressionist. I also like the Irish desktop dancers, they are brilliant at what they do, even marred by the worst TV editing and direction inflicted by ITV1.

The problem of BGT is that it is not looking for a variety act or an act for the Queen, but for a recording artiste, either a singer, band or instrumentalist that Syco can exploit. So each programme is contrived in line-up, editing, comments and PR in the press to produce that.

Several times a variety act has been told by the judges that people could not sit through 2 hours of their act - er, it's A VARIETY ACT, that's the point of it, you get a variety of acts each of around 3 mins and it's the overall show you go to see, not just one act.

So far we have - a nervous but reasonably ok cutey boy child singer with an adequate voice ; a very average piano player with no personality; a dreadful school music teacher with too much 'personality' who misses most of her notes; a heavily- pushed, produced and prepped teen boyband; a creepy albino-esque child dancer who can't dance for toffee; an impressionist who is fantastic at up to 4 impressions and clearly wasn't meant to win his show.
