You could have held off on the factory re-set. It seems the "no signal" is also happening to Sky's Irish HD customers.

The new settings are not being spotted by some STB's because the SID's are still the same as before the change so the change's are not being picked up. I'm going to hold off on the reset untill tomorrow - they might sort it out overnight. Pity the Pannys menus don't allow users to delete channels to allow a fresh scan of a transponder.

Have previousy reported this on AVForums but to add to the knowledge base here, I'll repeat it.
My [Panasonic] BS750 won't tune the BBC HD channels even after unplugging the power and doing a full rescan - twice. I am reluctant to do a factory reset. Incidentally (yes off-topic but relevant) DVBViewer on my PC would not pick up the altered channels not even with a complete in-depth rescan. I had to input the changed parameters manually, but the BS750 does not allow this. Clearly, BBC testing has been grossly inadequate for so many people to be having problems with certain Freesat models (and some reports of Sky receiver problems too). I will await further developments. |

Pace 810
For some reason my Pace 810 didn't want play ball with a full frequency scan, but when I put in the frequency and symbol rate it sorted everything out. No noticeable difference in piccy quality.

My Elgato NetStream Sat which is S2 compliant is unable to find the new channels.
The EyeTV software supports adding the channels manually but doesn't seem to save the settings Stuart |

Can confirm that Panasonic PZ81 will not find the BBC HD channels with auto tune. A return to shipping condition (full reset) is required.

Hi, you have the same Panasonic model I have a Freesat rescan doesn't work you have to go to shipping condition only snag is if you have any non Freesat channels they will go, but you keep any programmes you have recorded in the unit so not too bad, I have noticed after it booted up again the epg has gone back to old style after Panasonic updated it so another cockup? Panasonic might sort it out later on.

No Bbc Hd On Panasonic Dmr-xs350eb
I have also lost the BBC HD channels on my Panasonic DMR-XS350EB. I cut the power for 1 minute and did another boot up and still nothing. I then did a Freesat Channels only re-scan and still nothing. I will hold off returning it to factory setting for a day or so to see if they can get the problem sorted out. (I would have to do a re-scan of all the non Freesat Channels and then spend ages deleting the ones I do not want if it comes to resetting to factory settings).

I guess any factory reset to shipping condition on Panasonics might also lose you any firmware updates that had been set up and these will have to be done again and may not be available OTA. Well done P!

To be honest I prefer Pansonic's old epg to the new updated one a few months ago, we will have to see what Panasonic does?

Panasonic TX-L42D25L
No need to do Factory Reset Auto Scan did the business. All BBC HD channels restored ~ Quality 100%, Strength 100%. Now just have to restore all the channels back into the order I had them, something to do for the rest of the night:yawn: |

Hi all,
Can confirm that I needed to do a Shipping Condition Reset on my Panasonic DMR-BS750 in order to receive BBC HD and BBC One HD. Strangely both of my Panasonic TV's only needed a Freesat re-tune in order for channels to reappear? Models: TX-L32V10 & TX-L32D28 Not a VERY smooth transition for BBC me thinks from what I've read here and elsewhere!!! ![]() Nitemare

A number of people have suggested it was a rush job but no-one has speculated why?
