I think sometimes its because as women ourselves we might identify with Josies insecurities more because we might understand how it feels to be in a certain situation. I think also because John has always been the one who's been harder to understand and to know how hes thinkin it just might not occur to some people.

Im sure lots of harsh things have been said between the pair of them, we saw that on the programme and read it in the break interview that they did. I cant answer for John as to why he chose to answer qwerty but I think that he got fed up of Josie sayin that they were still on a break when in his mind he knew different.

Oh yeah, I remember now there was a piece in a mag where Shabby and Sam gave their opinions on the split and Sam spoke bout the emails. I agree it would have hit Josies insecurities and made her feel like John was sayin one thing to her and another to Sam but at the end of the day it was Sam's OPINION that John wouldnt be comin back. From what we know John only said that if things hadnt changed within 2 months then he wouldnt be comin back. No matter what Josie says there has to be a part of her that knew there was a possibility that John might not come back whether she wanted to admit it to herself or not.

Just wanted to say about John's response to Qwerty. I think the way John responded to qwerty's two questions (What is your favourite colour? and Are you still in a relationship with Josie Gibson?) in one short phrase (Blue and No) was really cutting. it was dismissive. No wonder Josie was hurt, even if they'd just had a blazing row and she'd told him it was over.

Qwerty didn't really expect a response to either question, I don't think. But John seized on a opportunity to get it over and done with. He may very well have regretted that response. I think he probably did. Oh well, too late now!

I have to give an assist to Carole and her picture. I just kept refreshing waiting for her to post the picture link and then refreshing trying to figure out why the picture look didn't any different. Then the thread was suddenly Closed. Always sends me into a bit of a panic.

This whole Josie called it, is still rubbish to me. Josie still thought they were on a break, which is why she kept saying it. It wasn't for any ulterior motives. Josie's not the one that works that way. She thought they were still together, that the break was still on, and there was still a chance. John instead of talking to her to explain that it wasn't that way, said it to qwerty and Twitter. That's why she said to call her to talk it out. Only then did she say it was over. Because she didn't think it was before that.

Sam and John were in communications while he and Josie obviously were not. So why wouldn't she believe what Sam said?

BiB - did he say that in the doc when he was walking out? All I heard him say over and over was that he PROMISED her he was coming back. Over and over and over. I wonder why she would think he meant it?

Agree,but then i often got John,cause he was very expressive in his emotions,Josie not so,she hides under her smiles and jokes,so sometimes i didn't know if she truly was joking or not,if that makes sense
