Haha, I liked Ben. I supported him until he was fired, and I must admit I was gutted when he inevitably was. I think the difference was that he was a complete tool but didn't pretend to be otherwise (either he was incapable of hiding it or he chose not to, I'm not sure which).
Jim on the other hand...he behaves like a nice guy up until a certain point. I wouldn't know where I stood with someone like Jim. He puts on a 'nice' act to hide that fact that he's really a tool, which is where I personally have a problem with him.
That is how I see the Jim situation. He isn't a candidate I love to hate, he's simply a candidate I hate. No idea what the general consensus is, but that is my personal opinion. How much of it is down to the editing I do not know, but this is from what I've seen.

(Should quickly add that the only reason I quoted this particular post was because you mentioned Ben which gave me a starting point for comparison and isn't really in response to your post at all. Just thought if I randomly start talking about Ben it will look a bit odd
