I'm going to visit bangladesh next month for 6 weeks and was wondering if it's possible I would still be able to use my O2 sim there?

I'm currently on O2 Simplicity P&G £10PPM.

Have you checked the o2 website for a list of roaming countries/charges?

You should be able to pick up a phone very cheap out there, lots of clones on sale plus a local sim card.

Does anyone know if I can still use simplicity there?

My phone is unlocked to all networks. Just need a sim if Simplicity won't work there.

Take a look at these prices,
http://phonecard.bootsnall.com/bangladesh_sim.htm

If I were you I'd pick up a cheap unlocked phone and take that with you. You'll get your money back and be 'in profit' over paying the O2 prices. I've done similar when on extended trips abroad and relied on this method when I first moved part time to Portugal, it saved me a lot of dosh.

Thanks Neo will decide what to do after I visit the O2 shop in town and enquire with them.
