Recently got a Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro (Android 2.1) and trying to work out couple things that would help.
Is there a way of syncing my windows live/hotmail contacts telephone numbers so i can use as the phone book ?? Does anyone know of an app that will sound a notification if i miss a call or text ?? |

I reckon you should think seriously about moving/importing your hotmail contacts into Google Contacts account.
http://www.google.com/contacts Android syncs much better with Contacts, and GMail (all by Google). |

How are you syncing?
Are you trying Menu > Settings > Accounts & Sync > Sync All ? In that list of accounts to sync should be google, which should sync your contacts, calendar, GMail etc. |

Strangely, it worked the first time but i had so many contacts, that i deleted them off the phone, sorted them out online & have had trouble re-syncing since |

OK well at least it worked once!
![]() Now try this: Contacts List, press Menu, press View. Have you got the Google box ticked? I Think it should be. I had trouble before importing old contacts from my old sim card and shuffled them around on google, so we've all been on similar boats! |
