Not sure if this is a Phone or Network issue
Hi DSers,
I've recently been having trouble with you phone. It's a Nokia E71, I'm with Three and have 4 months contract left. Recently my phone has developed some "quirks". It won't put people's names next to texts (think this must be a phone issue) and also won't receive texts properly. I will receive no texts, then by turning my phone off and on again, the "missing" texts will arrive. As you can imagine, this is a pain and has led to me missing lots of texts. I am not sure if this is phone-based or network based. I have already tried restoring to factory settings and downloading the latest updates, no joy. Can't seem to find an answer on their website either. Any help much Appreciated. Emmy xx |

I think you need to try doing a factory reset of your phone, if the texts are coming through straight away after you reboot it then it sounds like a phone issue.

Sorry for dumb question, but is that the same as "restore factory settings"?
