Agreed. He was very average last night, fairly decent voice and guitar skills but no stage presence.

I don't know why the judges hype him up so much.

Pip and Puppy, The Celtic Colleens and Marawa were all better than him last night I thought.

i thought he was one of the worst last night and that was saying something, way overrated

Fab song choice, but I too couldn't understand why the judges were OTT in praise. I doubt he'd make XFaxtor Top 12.

I thought he was okay; nothing special. I think both Jai & Ronan are better singers.

I think he's very overrated. His voice is quite nice, I like the raspy tone he has, but that's not much good if you're not in tune! As Randy would say on AI, he was a little 'pitchy' !!

Yes, Pip did have a better voice, but I hated the dog angle, as I don't like dog acts, PERsonally speaking!

I think, all in all, this is the year of the over-hype!

Not being a teen obsessed with the pop charts (like millions of others in this country) it was not that well known.

But then you are probably 'flabbergasted' if someone hasn't get a Facebook page and can't understand how they can live their lives without one.

By the way, the Birdie Song and 'Grandma we love you' have both been UK number 1 songs and are better known than what he sand last night. (Not that he should sing those two either)

But you promise that it will be the last time?

I don't understand what's so special about his act. The judges were heaping so much praise on his act, but people like him are ten a penny in your local pub, arts club and even buskers on the high street.

Anyone from outside the UK or Ireland watching the clip from last night on Youtube must be absolutely bemused to hear the judges lavishing praise on him.
