Looking back at it I don't ever think she did anything to warrant a sacking. Depends if she is part of the SCD wishlist or not.
She just wasn't very good. She wasn't sacked, they chose not to renew her contract. I think that was a good decision- they just chose a bad replacement.

I'm watching SYTYCD and I have to mute her when she talks. She may be knowledgeable, but she is unbearable to listen to on it. I don't remember disliking her this much when she was on SCD, but I cringe every time she speaks.
The shouty delivery of her corny, pre-rehearsed lines is bad. Her puns make the lowliest brow of tabloid seem like Shakespeare.
I think it was appalling the way she was sacked. But no. Just no.

Considering the BBC wastes loads of knowledge by replacing world class dancers like Matt Cutler with people like Jared... losing a knowledgeable but highly irritating and hormone-driven person like Arlene is really the least of their problems!
There's no reason for her to come back - she's not a ratings draw, she doesn't stand out as particularly knowledgeable over any number of other people who could do the job, she's been gone for a good while now, she's tried to undermine the show in the press, and she's not particularly well liked by the public.
I enjoy her battiness, but her returning to the show would be a bit like a cat eating its own sick. She's gone, the show's moved on, it's a bad idea to go backwards.

I don't see any reason for Arlene to have her old job back again...and while I'm here I should say I feel pretty much the same about Bruno, Len and Alesha too
