I didn't even have to think about it The Doctor's Wife far and away the best written and best acted episode.

still no love for Black Spot, thats kind of sad, but i guess in a strong set of episodes, it is kind of unlikely someone would think it was the best one...

If Curse of the Black Spot is considered the 'worse' then we have really had a treat in these 7 episodes haven't we. As Curse certainly wasn't bad at all imo.

I liked TCOTBS as well, it was certainly better than a majority of episodes in Series 5. It's just for me the other episodes were stronger and the only weak one of out the 7 for me was The Rebel Flesh which simply crawled along at a snail's pace and wasn't very interesting.

If TCOTBS had formed part of Series 5 it would have been up there as one of my favourite episodes, it just shows how much of an improvement Series 6 has been despite the few shortcomings here and there.

No-brainer - The Doctor's Wife!

Tightly written, no glaring plot-holes, characters with excellent characterisation and the best conversation ever spoken in Doctor Who.

1) THE IMPOSSIBLE ASTRONAUT - just brilliantly atmospheric, beautiful to watch and genuinely scary

2) DAY OF THE MOON - didn't quite live up to part 1, but what an amazing last few seconds!!

3) THE REBEL FLESH - very scary, beautifully written and acted, had a feel of the brilliant Satan Pit to me

4) THE ALMOST HUMANS - again, not quite up to the 1st part of this story, but still quite magnificent

5) A GOOD MAN GOES TO WAR - looked absolutely beautiful, contained the usual finale - style silliness, but hugely enjoyable

6) THE DOCTOR'S WIFE - enjoyed it, but feel it's been a little over-rated - watched it with the thought in my head of what a good idea this all was, but didn't find myself truly drawn into it.

7) CURSE OF THE BLACK SPOT - some good ideas, but hopefully will be this season's low point

Tough one. Honestly, I wasn't crazy about AGMGTW first time round - probably because I was spoilered a few weeks back. But second time round I loved it, so... it's my choice.
