I feel I must come in here with support for Jean Martyn-I never, ever watch the show-cannot abide it, so I didn`t see her performance, but I have been to many of her `live` concerts(on organ and piano) and she is a very talented and likeable lady.
I must also say that I did warn her that being associated with this type of rubbish would do her no favours-time only will tell

Jean wasn't playing the piano. She was playing the organ. Very different instrument.

Not nice, some of these comments. Although the style and presentation of a performance can often provoke a far more extreme reaction than the level of raw talent involved.

The fact is, Jean is a great deal better than either this thread gives her credit for and/or the show allows her to be and technically so far as I see, at least as good as Paul.

I thought she was great again, but the singing was a mistake. If she wanted to mouth along to the music, we shouldn't have heard it.
