As for the shouty comment...he has used a different tone and force with each song he's sang and can be subtle as well as belt it out...very talented singer in my view.

I haven't watched much of this series, but from the bits that I've seen, this young lad Ronan is special.

Neither do I, but I loved Ronan's voice tonight. I like powerful singers, not "shouty" singers. Ronan isn't one. I wasn't too impressed with him in the auditions, but in the semis and again tonight, he's just gone from strength to strength.

Why for working hard under $yco's 'groomers' of course ellegedly .Don't understand all this DESERVES rubbish. It sounds a bit like a way of forcing an opinion on others .He's no more deserving than anyone.
You can't even claim he has the most natural talent really - (if you believe the stories) that he has been worked on.People can make their own minds up - thank you very much. You are more than welcome to give an objective opinion though

He was forcing it tonight, maybe slightly too much for his voice, but it sounded good enough. He's only tiny so he can't naturally have much raw power.

Totally pointless having these kids on talent shows. Wait till their voices have broken.

Do you expect every view that is expressed here to be followed up with "in my opinion"? Of course its my opinion I'm expressing. I believe he is a great singer and great singers deserve to do well. My opinion. How is that forcing an opinion on others? It's GIVING an opinion and your post seems much more forceful than many others here.

And what do you mean by objective opinion? Opinions are by their nature, subjective.
