Aren't kids not allowed on stage after a certain time or something? New bounce are not on the stage so why is Ronan allowed?

Sounds like balderdash and piffle to me.

What about all the kids performing on stage in theatres in the West End then?

LOL!!! Just like in the film "Orphan". He will now be so mentally damaged by this experience that he will tour the world entering talent contests and when he loses will go on a killing spree getting revenge on those who have spurned him.

They dont work any hours.

Children are only allowed to work certain hours and not past a certain time.

West End productions are usually finished before 10pm and you will find that children in shows are doubled up so that the kids only work every other day.

My nephew was in Miss Saigon so I knew about the 'doubling up' thing so they don't work over the amount of hours that they're allowed to each week.

Had no idea about the 'on TV or stage after bedtime' thing though.

The regulations regarding child performers are quite complicated - but there are ways that young people can be on stage/on set past 10pm if it is necessary for the production

So I am sure it was all legal and above board

A bunch of them couldn't just odd how they chose to break the rules just for Ronan, no bias there at all.

It isnt anything to do with 'bedtime'.

Children are not allowed to work anywhere past 10pm.
If a 16 year old worked in a restaurant they would have to be finished at 10pm by law even if all other workers were still there till midnight.

Right, but they could presumably be there voluntarily if they weren't getting paid?

Nope.....nothing to do with being paid. No way for anyone to abuse the system and have child labour.

A child is not allowed to work past 10pm whether they are paid or doing it for love.

Children under 13 need a licence to appear on the stage if they are paid. I am not sure about amateurs - many a dancing school concert would go over the time and little children would still be on stage.

Under 13's cant work past 7pm....that is what a license might get around. Certainly not past 10.

Idk, Maybe it was on a slight time delay and was slightly before 10, like 9:58pm-ish but i'm sure it was a above board really.
