Simon has just said he is looking for a big song for Jai to sing.

I think the one outstanding song that Jai would sound fantastic singing is Anthem from Chess, as not only is it one of my favourite musical songs, but his voice is made to sing that song.

I first saw him this week and I didn't know he had sung Anthem from Chess in his audition.
But after seeing that perfornace, I knoew it would suit him.

Very few can do that song justice and he certainly does!

I did not see his audition, as I only saw his performance on the semis and tonight.

I never realised he had sung that song, but funny I should mention it would suit him, as he obviously thinks so doing it as his audition.

I hope Jai, really nails it on the night,
no matter what song he sings.

His audition is there. I became a fan of him instantly, and his performance was touching.

So what Simon wants he get's... he clearly doesn't care about Jai... the judges couldn't even be happy for him tonight...:sleep:

Knowing Simon and wanting to ruin his chances, he may give Jai "I'm Every Woman", or more predictably "Bleeding Love", just so if it works, Si can say "It's because I chose him a great song"... he's still up Leona's ass I see, and she has probably forgotten about him Role reversal.

I'm not watching the BGMT show and I didn't watch the final either (just the results show) but a lot of posts say he is only talking about Ronan.

I actually think Simon had a bit of a Damascene moment this evening. He realised that he no longer lives here, that neither Amanda or Michael deep down have a clue what they are looking for, that his UK producers let him down and that the show has been badly directed. Interestingly, every act tonight was more simply presented and more simply directed on camera and it was all a big improvement. I think Simon did that.

I think he also realised that this is not the UK, that we don't do cute kids like America and that he has a gap for a British Josh Groban and that Jai has the voice and looks to be that person. I'm sure I heard the ker-ching as Simon watched him repeat his performance.

i got a shock when i saw the audition for the first time on friday.. he was absolutely fantastic.. an unbelievably powerful voice.. he looks strong.. he looks handsome.. if syco manages him well (unlikely?) he could be a josh grobin..

He has already sung Anthem from Chess twice now he needs a new song or it will look like that's all he can sing.

There are enough big males songs in theatre-land for him to chose from and better know as well.

She hasn't. After the sales performance of her second album compared to her first, she still needs him far more than he needs her.
