Jai won - get over it.

Everybody was great tonight in their own way, but in the end, the public (also known as us lot) voted Jai as the winner. Some of the bitterness on this forum amazes me.

Can't we all just get along for once lol?

No matter what the result was, there would always be an outrage, It's just the nature of this forum.

I just don't get the hate for a man who is decent and humble, merely because he beat a kid in a talent show. Ronan has the rest of his life FFS. The public voted - Jai is the winner. I'm very happy for him

Thnakyou for this thread, he is a lovely, humble man who made a point of comforting ronan after hed won, and Ronan seemed genuinely pleased for him, it was obvious that everyone liked him amongst the contestants and were really pleased for him, i wish i could say the same about people on this forum and the judges and presenters on this show!!

Agree with you 100% I'm watching him on the RVP and I hope he has a successful career, shame the judges (Simon and Amanda) in particular had to be so bitter.

I didn't phone in a vote for him - but I did predict him in the DS vote!

A good voice - and if he gets the right support, he could build a career like Josh Groban

I actually dont think the forums are bad tonight the real nastiness and bitching is all coming from the studios at extra factor where they cant shut the f**k up about Ronan and new bounce and cant get over us the public didnt want them to win and voted for Jai

completely agree with you, but i dont think it has helped on both itv1 &2 having the judges and others going on and on about how ronan should have won. its a real shame!

Agreed 100%

I cannot believe some of the rubbish I have read on other threads about the results tonight!!!!

Look at wee Ronan and see how gracious he was with the results.....perhaps some members of this forum should take tips from him!!

I am glad that Jai won as he is very talented and the money and the title will help him a lot with his hopes to have a singing career. Both Ronan and New Bounce will already be in negotiations to sign contracts and will have careers despite not winning....I personally also hope that Michael Collings gets signed as I loved his voice and like Jai seemed a genuinely nice guy.

I agree with the poster about Britatins Got More Talent.....for goodness sake the so called favourite didnt win.....get over it and celebrate the person that DID win. ALL the singers in the final could have been worthy winners and the public went for Jai its not as though we voted for someone completely untalented.

I totally agree. Get over it. Especially ITV2. Their script tonight was written entirely around Ronan and New Bounce. Almost every question in the studio was about Ronan. It was insulting to Jai and to the public. And BTW when there are 10 acts in the vote 2 1/2% is a HUGE percentage.

Jai was an obvious potential and worthy winner from his semi-final performance on. Everyone I know - here in West London (the home of Ant and Dec) - has been saying in the last few days they thought he could win if Syco didn't favour Ronan and New Bounce too much.

Sadly, the judges are out of touch and so are the producers. They made repeated errors in who they put through and who they didn't. The endless manipulation and press releasing on Ronan clouded their judgement. They then compounded this by partially also annointing New Bounce as their favourite and giving them the best slot in the final, even though they are pretty ropey as a group.

Part of the problem is that the panel lacked Simon or any other producer/impressario. You need at least one judge that actually hires and fires talent for a living. None of this year's judges do that, and it really shows. They are not talent pickers and they got sidetracked into their own Ronan/New Bounce show, one that was ideally suited to Syco's bottom line.

I can understand telling the guys on ITV2 to "get over it" because from what I've read, they've all behaved very unprofessionally and unkindly.

But this is a discussion forum, so there's bound to be differences of opinion and people should be able to express their thoughts on the result (however negative) without being told to "get over it".

I didn't watch the entire series and haven't become attached to one particular act, so there's no bitterness or sour grapes here. But I was disappointed with the choice of winner (and the overall standard to be honest).

I'm sure Jai is a very decent, humble guy. But he didn't move me at all with his singing. He was too nervous and his voice too much on one level. There were a couple of acts I prefered.

Yes, Sid, but you express your opinion in a very reasonable manner. Not everyone has done so.

I was very happy to see Jai win, he was excellent. Any of him, Ronan, New Bounce or Paul would have been fine by me. Paul was incredibly brave to play his own composition in the fnal and I am really glad he had the platform. New Bounce and Ronan will all have recording contracts before long, they are very talented young lads, but Jai was a very worthy winner and will be great in the RVP.
