Aren't all Cowell-produced reality show contestants signed exclusively to him for 6 months? I remember reading that somewhere that he's got a six month option written into the contract. A perfect amount of time, so that if he doesn't want them, their fame has dissipated and nobody else can make a shiny penny out of them.
And if Jai does decide to stick two fingers up at Cowell, by the time his exclusivity deal has run out, everyone on this forum will be deciding which new X-Factor contestant we want to win...
I wish the bloke well, but his ONLY option is to sign with Simon Cowell. Hopefully have a top 10 album to pay off Simon Cowell and that somebody notices him for musicals.
