Noticed something about Simon tonight

He asked directly on more than one occasion if the act had chosen the song/music themselves. Do you reckon this was response to the Jessica incident?

I noticed that too. Yes, I do think it was a response to the Jessica incident, in that she let the side down, according to him by telling it like it is. I saw it as him making sure the contestants were toeing the party line by saying they made their own choices, when in fact the complete opposite was probably true.

Yes I noticed that. But if you give the an act the choice of say singing

a) the Swedish national anthem

or

b) On the Good Ship Lollie-pop,

am sure most English speaking people will make b their own choice

She was told she had made a bad choice of song in the semi but she said it wasn't her choice, the producers chose it.

His attempt at manipulation is becoming as obvious as a childs.

And he seems to have few morals about it all as well.
