Commander Strax: His comedic self-loathing was a joy to witness.
He was like newly-human Anya (from Buffy) in Potato form. Genius! I *so* hope we'll be seeing him again. |

Hard to choose, so many good characters in such a short time, but it had to be the long tongued and extremely sexy Silurian in the end.

I went for Madame Vastra but Commander Strax was a very close second.

Remember: a vote for Vastra is a vote for Jenny.

Anyway, i'm dissapointed that the thin fat married gay anglican marines aren't getting more love, but with Vastra, Jenny and Amy in the same episode, theres not much chance!

Damn you, Moffat, for throwing so many good characters into a single episode!
P.S. Option for Harcourt, but no love for Manton/Runaway? |

It beats me why the Doctor should mess around with soppy human companions when he could team up with the mean green tongue machine and let her despatch the baddies without him having to bother to get his screwdriver out

"I don't know why you put up with me"
*demonstrates long tongue* *Jenny gives her a look to say: "THAT'S why!"* That must surely count as one of the subtlest yet filthiest jokes in the history of the programme! So lets replace Torchwood with Madam Vastra and Jenny in their own series thats like The Crimson Petal And The White but with rayguns and samurai swords ![]() While I was less interested in the character I was quite interested in the situation, so I wouldn't mind seeing more of Captain Harcourt and The Battle of Zarathustra |

I love Strax so much I want him to have his own commentary track on the DVD. For all the episodes, regardless of whether he's in them, just giving his opinions on the Doctor's goings on.

Wow, theirs a surprising amount of love for Lorna Bucket, I didn't think she was all that noticeable really. Not bad, just not particularly anything.
