Doctor leaves in the Tardis.................says 'River get them home' (or something like that)

The main question I have is that The Doctor left in the TARDIS yet the writing still translated?

Didn't River say something like "Sorry, sometimes it takes a couple of minutes for the TARDIS translator to kick in" (ie. for the translation to show up)? Just one line so you can be forgiven for having missed it.

People who travelled in the TARDIS still have the effects of being in the TARDIS - for example, their being able to have things translated for them. Otherwise every time they leave the TARDIS and don't get back in it until the episode finishes would have to have everything translated for them constantly.
