Thanks to everyone who voted in Round Thirty Six


If you haven't played a Survivor game before and would like to join in it's all very easy. All you need to do is cast your eye down the episodes listed below and decide which two of them you like the least.
Once you've sorted that out simply send your choices to me via Private Message, then sit back and wait for the results to be announced. It's as simple as that!
You can also send your choices to the succeeding rounds by typing ”auto”. Just remember that if one of your episodes is evicted then you’ll need to replace it to make them up to the required amount of two episodes.
One episode will be evicted at the end of each round. In the event of a tie, cumulative votes throughout the game will be taken into account.

Season Five gets a rest this this around as 42.86% of you voted to evict The Empty Child from Season One. It was ranked 4th last year so it’s a fall of three places this time around as it claims 7th place on this year’s chart.

I really loved episode 7, up there with Day of the Moon and The Doctors Wife as being one of the three really outstanding episodes we have seen this series. I was happy enough with the Riversong reveal, just mildly disappointed that someone couldn't keep their mouth shut, thus spoiling it (literally and metaphorically) for a lot of people on forums etc.

Thought the ep was excellent, bettered only by The Doctor's Wife this series.

Reveal was well handled.

I agree. The Empty Child was my second favourite of those left.

As to A Good Man Goes To War, I had been wondering if I'd like it or not, because we were back to the arc, and I'd disliked the opening two-parter, which was also arc-dominated. I thought it was pretty good in the end, though not the highlight of the series (that would be The Doctor's Wife).

I really liked the episode and I loved the way the reveal was handled. The only problem is that I'm not very patient and don't want to wait to find out what happens. A week is bad enough never mind months. I know I've got it all to look forward to but I want to find out what happens now!

I was terribly disappointed in episode 7. The entire thing seemed to be a build-up to the reveal (and maybe episode 8, although for me all the tension is taken out of the situation by the reveal, but I won't say more because I don't want to spoil anyone who hasn't seen it yet). There were lots of interesting new characters (maybe too many). If I ever get to the end of the episode thread I'll try to put my thoughts in there.
