Congrats on the OP elphie

...but a sad topic

I was about to reply you your post MadWorld

Here And then the thing about him getting twitter when he leaves was something he told a fan, who posted on the FB page
Thanks .

His appearances for the Lotto are on BBC too, so I doubt he'd be giving up all that soon.

There's so much for them to explore, please don't think about leaving yet, ug.

Eek, Elphie, that was some depressing OP

I have to say I expected they would leave next year (yes I am hoping when they leave, they go together). I've never really expected Marc to stay in EE for more than 3-4 years. I just hope when they do go they don't do all stage work, otherwise I'll never get to see them again

At least we've got a lot of good stuff before that happens.

Interesting.

Personally I think Johnny will bow out the show next year. Just a feeling.
I do hope he doesn't go yet! I know he'll have been there for quite awhile by then, but it feels like he's just getting started in some ways. Chryed has been his first big s/l and even at that, there's only been a few occasions where Christian's really been the focus (NYD, at some points throughout April, ABRC). I think it'll be a bit of anti-climax if he leaves anytime soon, personally, unless he gets an absolutely *fantastic* offer elsewhere. I have no doubt Johnny'll still be around, but he's around anyway, while still being on EE- I think sticking around for another two years or so would mean that when he does leave he'll be remembered and his departure will really feel like a big loss (other than to us, obviously).

I don't know why I think I know what's best for an actor, but I really do think next year is too soon. Maybe I just want Christian and Syed as a properly established couple before one of them goes.

Congrats Elphie. Don't worry about the OP.

I know its a depressing thought but next year will be Johnny's fifth year on the show. Not many actors make it beyond that.

Anyway, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

For now we have alot to look forward to. A CP, adoption, trip to the gay bar, Yusef sticking his ore in!

Yay, new thread! Congrats on the OP, elphie, even if it is a bit depressing.

We'll cross that bridge when we come to it, no point worrying about it until it happens!

congratulations elphie - and i thought my 'daran is *insert what you feel like*' OP was good.

JP would be a bit of a fool to leave whilst the BBC allow him to do so much work elsewhere. He's got the greatest deal (as he's acknowledged): an EE contract; and BBC presenting and entertainment jobs. Unless ITV give him a rival contract, giving up the role that provides him with his profile would be a funny old move. Who knows though...

Hi Cairogirl .

Brilliant post at the end of the last thread about Chryed and the Masoods, and why the Masood object to Chryed so much, including potentially feeling like 'failures' as parents etc...(grrr to them at that).

Thanks .

I'm sure when JP leaves he'll do lots of presenting work so you'll get to see him there!
