HP WebOS
Any fellow WebOS users here?
For those of you that don't know what WebOS is, its the operating system used on the HP (formerly Palm) Pre and Veer series of phones. I own a HP Pre 2 and I love it. As much as I do love my phone though, I can't help but wonder wether anyone else owns a WebOS device. I've only seen other people using them maybe once or twice. Anyone else have Pre?

I find Android a bit flaky sometimes, although I am using a fairly old phone. I don't need a hundred and one apps on the phone, I just want something that does calls, messaging, email and web and does it quickly and reliably. How do you find the stability of WebOS on your device - does it ever fall over like Android, or is it more solid? |

I lusted after a Palm Pre for ages, vowing it would be my next phone, but ended up with Android because my fiancée's phone contract finished and she gave me her Motorola.

They're very intuitive and on the whole quite stable - mine has frozen a couple of times but thats rare. The way it handles multitasking is easily the most slick method available and whenever I show my friends they're always impressed/jealous of my phone. The browser is incredibly fast and is on par with the iPhone 4 in terms of performance and that goes for messaging too - which is, again, very intuitive as it integrates online messaging clients into one app. That way you can flip between say Google Talk and regular ol' texting without the need for opening another apps. So yeah, they are pretty solid in terms of performance.
