I remember hating the new Alison Moyet song when I heard it on the radio of course it turned out to be 'Sometimes' which I now love....

My other faves are also tracks that didn't appeal initially;

Blue Savanna
The Circus

Not a devoted fan by any means but they had a fair share of solid classic tunes IMO.

I'm actually enjoying the new album a hell of a lot more than I thought I would, I wasn't fussed on When I Start To Break It All Down (has grown on me slightly however), but the new album has suprised me lol

I would have liked to have heard a little bit more of Vince though, although you can still definitely hear his presence there (I'm finding it reveals itself more through repeated listens), and I don't think Andy needs autotune but he still is very overlooked as a singer I think.

My top 3 picks would be Be With You, A Whole Lot Of Love and You've Got To Save Me. Need to hear the second disc though now

Been listening to Cowboy a lot the last few days. In My Arms is fast becoming one of my favorite Erasure songs!

according to EIS, Keane's Tim Rice-Oxley voted Erasure's 'Tomorrow's World' show in Brighton as his best live show of 2011 in his end of year round-up for Keane's official website, saying "Possibly the most underrated band of all time, and it's a crying shame they're not a considered a national treasure in the UK. One massive singalong hit after another".

Been listening to the album constantly since it's release and it's definitely up there in my top 3 Erasure albums (along with Erasure and Chorus). But as much as I love the album, best track for me is Shot to the Heart, which sounds like a classic Erasure B-side.

The songs I liked from Erasure were:

Who Needs Love Like That
A Little Respect
Chains Of Love
Ship Of Fools
Chorus

It Doesn't Have To Be Like That
Victim Of Love

I liked Erasure especially their 80's and early 90's material and they had huge sucess in this era aswell, fingers and thumbs was one of their later 90's tracks that i loved but i never hear anyone mention it.

Im glad they are still making albums, touring and releasing singles even though commercially they dont sell near as much as they used to as its mainly for hardcore fans. Like the Pet Shop boys they wont be picking up any new fans unfortunatly as both are still good bands just not as good as they used to be.

Hopefully Erasure news album can manage the top 40 even if its just for 1 week.

On Friday 17th April, I was at the Brighton Dome for my first ever concert only to find out that BBC cameras were there to record it for posterity!

Funny to think at the time they'd not been going that long and now they've been going well over quarter of a century!!

I have a 'played to death' copy of Live at the Seaside on VHS but would love to have it on DVD.

Anyone know if it's ever been done in that format?
