And then Episode 2 (Friday, July 15th). http://www.starz.com/originals/Torchwood/Episode102

So I it will be 10 weeks here aswell ”

That's America though, they always have 1 episode a week for their shows. they can't clear their schedules just for Torchwood. Over here we have a more flexible approach to schedules. But I guess it is the off season for most shows. I just don't want to wait till October for DW to start up again! lol

Torchwood will end on the 9th September, if we get it the same day (it will most likely be then or the day before) which should be confirmed next Thursday when the press office's programme information is updated for that week. So Doctor Who could start again on the 10th September.

(Hello all, this is my first post, and as first posts go it might not be the best....)

I thought it was cute how the Doctor got all flustered about the thought of Amy and Rory getting it on in the TARDIS... as if he was surprised at what would happen if he let a couple of newlyweds live with him!

Yeah it may be, but would they chance it having it all in one go in UK, and over a 10 weeks in US, where there will be the chance that some viewers would just download it, and Staz would lose its viewers

Ok, I assumed the Silence were the ones controlling the TARDIS and we'll be learning more about how that works later on in the next half of the series. As for River being part TimeLord - we don't know how that works yet. The best explaination given in the episode was the Doctor guessing that it was to do with Amy and Rory traveling in the TARDIS. Remember when he tells the Silurian about his adventures with Amy and Rory from series 5 and how he had to reset the universe and then came back for them both on their wedding day. Now we know that the traveled with the Doctor the night of their wedding which means that Amy must have become pregnant in the TARDIS - remember that in one of the episodes, I can't remember which exactly now not that it matters, of this series where it is mentioned that Amy and Rory have a room in the TARDIS where they sleep and it was loosely insinuated that that wasn't all they got up to in that room.
