I don`t think saying to Lord Sugar that she trained/instructed CEOs from multimillion pound businesses to be better at their jobs went down well.

Another problem with Edna was those gloves. In a previous task when giving a pitch whilst strutting up & down like stripper in those gloves wasn`t businesslike. I expected her to peel off the gloves & throw them into the audience of prospective business people.

I wasn't keen on Edna from watching the shows but after seeing her on the apprentice you're fired I changed my mind. I thought she came across rather well.

The funny thing with YF is the women always come onto the show with a new look and suddenly they have developed a sense of humour.
One of the things I really like about TA is the way pretty much all the women feel the need to dress "professionally" in suits and act hard-nosed, often being bitches because they think that it will get them the job.
If they have a sense of humour and are more likeable why aren't they seeing that as as asset when it comes to customer relations and doing deals?

There is this thing they call editing, which they have to do to condense the programme into an hour. They have over 12 hours worth of footage for each team obviously little "irrelevant" things like sense of humour don't make the cut.

And I don't know why you are singling out the women, they all do this.

Every week in our house , we always wait to see how they (and it's always the women) have changed since the series was recorded. Sometimes the blond hair has gone, sometimes the glasses. This week we were all gob smacked at the change in Edna. She was gorgeous! Gone was the sneering face that looked like somebody had rubbed dog mess under her nose. I thought her sister had come on instead :¬)

“I probably underplayed my practical experience” she says on Breakfast just now ie. “I stood around doing **** all except criticise others”.

The scary thing is someone like her probably makes a very good living for essentially doing and knowing nothing.
you've come to such a conclusion just off carefully crafted edits from a reality show?

Someone like her - meaning....? So, you know all about her personally to know that she does & know nothing? I thought not.

She is delusional, she keeps going on about her qualifications and experience in 30 countries etc but there's never any evidence of this actual experience. Does she just mean she has experienced 30 different airports on her holidays? What is this mythical experience actually in?

All that's coming over is her greatest talent is in bigging herself up but not really any substance behind it.

meaning I saw nothing from her during the series that showed any particular spark or talent. And she seems to have a very abstract, consultancy-based, 'what really is the point of it' kind of job.

My thoughts exactly. Wheeler dealer types like Sugar just can't stand self-important managemenet consultant bullshit like that.

Like I said before, she lasted this long purely by virtue of being on the winning team.

I couldn't believe how different she looked on you're fired.
She should have had her hair like that on the Apprentice, much classier.

Thought she came across well too in the end.
