There are filming photos taken from the lake which give a side view of the set-up and give more information. They're from far away so pose more questions than answers.

Here's a direct link to the photo...

doing a bit of research i see what you mean although to me the pic of the shack could be a cameraman hiding behind it for that shot or even something like a hose tied up on the side, it's pretty ambiguous.
also is this merely a production mistake or does this look like a headless monk?

They are to do with props. There are multiple images that show the cloaked things you refer to are just busts covered with material to hold up the sarcophagi.

Also this was because the spacesuit was a life support system hence why she may have died upon leaving the suit
Yes, that's a fair assumption, but why was it needed?

By "Why did she die" I meant "What killed her"? What was the life support machine protecting her from? What happened to Baby Melody (if it is her) to require a life support machine? A simple earth disease? Time vortex rejection? Cyberman nano virus? Was she stabbed by eyepatch lady as baby (she being the baby, not eyepatch lady )? Partially shot by a dalek? Sucked a bit by a Silence?

Actually having seen the clip again in the latest episode what River says is "Human, going by the life support software".

That doesn't neceesarily mean that the child's was being kept alive by the suit does it? If you seal someone in an airtight spacesuit then you need life support software to make sure they don't overheat, or suffocate, or starve to death and so on even if they are perfectly healthy to start with.

maybe it was from when Amy shot her. I take your point i am just assuming it was a suit to keep her alive and that once she left it this illness started to slowly kill her

... if he knew he was going to his death ... and thanks to Amy he did, presumably he'd have parked her somewhere very safe!

I'm still wondering what the Silence were up to ... and exactly how much of TIA&DotM the doctor & co actually remember, and how much we didn't see! ... The Silent in the Bathroom told Amy (paraphrasing) "you will tell the doctor what he needs to know & what he must never find out" ... was this an instruction or a prophecy ... I'm assuming it referred to the pregnancy & the doctor's death ... but I assume there's more to come from the Silence ... we don't seem to know anything about them yet & we remember more than the Doc & co!

I was actually wondering that when I was looking at the pics of the mysterious figure ... I couldn't work out if the shack was a prop or really at the location ... actually I was also wondering if the doctor had switched the chamelion circit on again ... definitely a convenient shack!

I still say he fixed the chameleon circuit and the car he sat on was actually the Tardis. I can't see the Doctor driving, can you?

I want to know why there are no ducks on the duckpond, and why Amy didn't recognise the Daleks. I'm guessing Amy has been a ganger a lot longer than since TIA. Especially as the Doctor said it had happened before America

If Amy was a Ganger before series 5, how on earth did she get pregnant on her wedding night?

Also, there were no ducks on the duck pond because they had decided not to live there long ago... He was using it as a refeerence point to explain something still leaving its effects after being erased. The pond was still called a duck pond, because sometime before then, ducks had lived on it! Simple - no conspiracy involving TARDIS exploding ducks here.

As for the Dalek thing - it is most likely to do with the fact that the crack on her bedroom wall was affecting her mind. Either that of the crack had erased the time the Daleks had invaded (as it was just one crack that happened after the explosion of the TARDIS, it was just everywhere in space and time at the same time). Easily explained by in-episode logic.

5. Who is the 'good man' River is imprisoned for killing?
A gun is for killing. Subtle twist of meaning; River was kept by the cleric army for the purpose of killing a good man. You know how these writers like to play with words. (I had a bet on several weeks ago that Amy's child was going to be female and called one of melody, symphony or harmony - slight Captain Scarlett reference there).

But what about the Doctor's timey-wimey detector that can boil an egg at 30 paces?

That's it! You solved the missing ducks thing:

The Doctor accidentally used his timey-wimey detector during 1969 (where he was sent by the Angels) too close to the village duck pond in Leadworth...
