FoxSat rebooting
WillS

I switched on my FoxSat this morning, and it just reboots and starts
BBC1HD comes up in the window, then it reboots.
All that's on the TV screen is the Humax start-up screen

Anyoone have any idea, or is there a 'reset' mode?
Thanks

Have you tried turning the power off then on again?

A friend suggested disconnecting the LNBs which seems to get the machine booting up, although no programmes, all the stuff is on the HDD(about 400GB).
It recorded from10-11am today OK and I switched it on about 11:50

There's an out of 13.4volts on each LNB input, the cables to the disc have resistance of 1 M Ohm - not a short
I'll try swapping over the LNB with the other two on the quad out, but I suspect it's the LNB block
I can't see why it kept rebooting though

Well I now have my FoxSat working.

I saw the thread 'No BBC1 HD or BBC HD Picture' and with the cables removed, switched on and retuned from BBC HD to channel 5
I then re-connected the cables and switched on.
Worked perfectly.
On switching to BBC1 HD and HD no problems
I find it strange that no one else seemed to have this problem
My FoxSat has the latest software, but is over two years old.
At least I will soon have a spare LNB!
