My old Canon camera had a slideshow option that would display all photos and video clips on the SD card.

Does anyone know of a TV media player that I can connect a USB hard-drive to that will allow me to play a slide-show of a folder that contains both photos and video clips.

I store all photos and video clips within a folder named the date the they were shot - e.g. todays media would be in a folder called 2011-06-06. Ideally I'd like to be able to turn the box on, select the folder 2011-06-06 and see a slide-show of the photos and videos.

Try looking at the Xenia ones (£20 odd on Amazon), it should do what you want.
