Two apples a day. Apples are delicious, no chore to eat, and very healthy. See link http://homecooking.about.com/od/food...pplehealth.htm

I eat oatmeal every morning. Just add hot water.

For snacks, I eat dark chocolate or almond.

I can't fathom eating something that I didn't enjoy or even found darn right foul ,purely because it's healthy !? Find something else ,isn't food supposed to be pleasurable? .I guess I've always seen food as a pleasure as well as just fuel to keep me alive .I used to have flatmates who were big into being healthy ,one morning one of them was eating a dry rivita for breakfast ( cardboard or birdseed imo ) I asked ''are you enjoying that?' she said 'No ,but it's good for me''

I agree that it is ridiculous to eat something you find foul just because it is reportedly healthy. There is so much variety in good foods that should not be neccesary. But with the amount of poor diets out there I love discovering foods that are really good for you, then incorporating them into my diet. Eating for pleasure is a cornerstone of a happy life, as much as enjoying being healthy. There is a lack of education regarding food resulting in a generation prone to be overweight and unhealthy.

I add methi and any other spinach once in a week. Because i feel methi is good for menstrual problems and spinach is good for eyes.

I do wish to add more fruits. But somehow i couldn't motivate myself. When my grandma was alive, she used to make healthy meals for me. One day carrot/Beetroot rice, One day chick peas curry, one day cabbage side dish, every weekend meat/fish, everyday spinach (different varieties), once in a week carrot with milk, once in a week herb chutney, ginger/pepper/fenugreek curry and lot more. I do miss my grandma.

I should add to the person that said bread is something to be avoided. I would avoid WHITE bread, but go for seeded wholemeal, and get as close to pure wholemeal as you possibly can. Better yet, make it yourself. It's a top way to get your wholegrain in a day and tastes grand to boot. Can take a bit of getting used to if you're mainly a whitey eater, but better in the long run.
