Jimmy Cricket. He was always on the telly when I was a small child in the late 80's/early 90's and then seemed to vanish. In fact I thought I'd imagined him for years until I was on Youtube a few weeks ago and saw an old clip of him on there. I suppose his wholesome comedy act simply went out of fashion.

Clearly a megastar, but have you heard anything about him lately? Heard about him touring? In the press??

Linda Lusardi does the panto circuit with her husband every single season doesn't she. That's not TV though obviously!

What about the actors who played the husbands in Birds of a Feather? I've not seen either Peter Polycarpou nor Alun Lewis in anything since then (well, Alun Lewis did Emmerdale but other than that...) and I thought they were brilliant in that programme.

I wish I'd been able to see the show on tour. It's lovely that the three girls are back together again!

It seems he has gone into retirement..no plans to release any new music, just keeping a low profile with Iman and their daughter....

I respect David Bowie for not appearing to give a stuff about the celebrity circuit. I wish other, lesser celebrities would follow his example and behave with a similar dignity.

I wish I could have seen him tour though, and I seriously envy anyone who did!

Mika is just finishing off his third album and doing festivals all over Europe this summer. He's also cowritten a song on Madonna's latest album (Gang Bang).

Yes his sister almost died in that freak accident and although it's true to say he was badly shaken up by that, it hasn't been the reason he's "disappeared". It's just been the usual low-profile hiatus any musician has between albums.

The Beddingfields I agree.

Natasha had a string of hits in the US (a few years ago), but just vanished, while Daniel just did 2 albums, the first 5x platinum.

Pauline Quirke, Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph are currently touring with the stage show of Birds of a Feather. Pauline Quirke has been in the news loads lately after losing eight stone and has also had a long run on Emmerdale until very recently

A couple of years ago Leslie Ash was in Holby City & again a couple of years ago Josie was in EastEnders. Josie is also taking part in a reality show that is coming up soon. I'm not sure what it's called but it's something to do with conducting an orchestra where she is competing with other celebs.
