Torchwood-What are you looking forward too?

A nice different thread that isn't about the new series of Doctor Who!!!!

What are you looking forward to in the New Series of Torchwood? Is seeing Capt Jack back? Gwen's return? The American setting or even watching RTD's work again? Or something else?!

Me, it has to be seeing the gorgeous Gwen again. Seems a lifetime since I saw her last and she is soooo hot!!!!

Sorry about the vagueness of the thread, I just wanted there to be something else to discuss that was different from Series 6 of Doctor Who at the moment!!!!!!

Points to services - hmm that would be Jack and as a bonus we have 3 radio plays set pre CoE with Ianto in as well. Happy Days for me.

Definitely Jack, I watches episode 1 of Children of Earth yesterday and I didn't realise quite how much I missed him until he appeared

Episode 1 is my favourite of the 5 days although I think Day 5 is the best episode dramatically.

I'd watch Torchwood anyway but having seen the trailer for this series - it looks great. (no spoilers - watch it yourself if you want to)

For me - just having them on again is enough but I am especially pleased that Rhys is there - I like his "normality".

I'm ashamed to admit I'd forgotten how good the first episode was. My dad hasn't seen Torchwood since Series 1 Episode 1 and even though he was falling asleep (not because of Torchwood) he saw enough to mention he would try and watch it again

I liked all COE actually. It just got better as every episode progressed. If the forthcoming series is as good as that, I'll be happy.

I loved them all too, my favourite of the whole Torchwood experience. If the new stuff is of the same standard, I will be very happy

You should watch CoE simply because it is amazing. Series 2 is up and down but Kiss Kiss Bang Bang - ep1 is my favourite of them all.

This is a link to an interview with RTD - big spoiler (which I already knew) at the end. There are lots of warnings about it.

I'd buy the DVD's sharpish otherwise you could be doing a lot of head-scratching!

I still prefer Series 1 as my fave but I can't fault any of them really. They're all good.

I meant to say I loved all episodes of COE not every series of Torchwood

Also if you really want to know about the episodes Muttley, myself and others reviewed them all from start to finish earlier in the year in the Fans thread. Muttley could probably tell you where to find them.

Well never mind, I loved COE, it was great to watch something decent on BBC1 between 9 and 10 in the evening. Very very rarely happens with me!

Yeah, I think you'll enjoy both series. I found very few if any weak episodes amongst them really, that's what I like about Torchwood. Very rarely for me does it have a crap episode.
