Back to the DNA-thingie ...

Perhaps the "metabolic stabilizer" that River injected Amy with in ToA has become a different meaning now, considering that she was working for the clerics there.

This jab always seemed suspicious, considering that it would stabilize against radiation - and other stuff, as River said

...cirlcing the thumb and forefinger of one like a doughnut and then repeatedly inserting and removing the index finger of the other hand.

...nudging the other person with your elbow whilst winking theatrically and inclining your head.

...using such phrases as "You know what I mean, Ay, ay, nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more" or "hibbity-gibbity". Note that this can be performed alongside the previous action.

...chenching both hands into fists, holding both arms at the side of your body with the elbow at ninety degrees so that your forarms extend in front of you and moving your hips back and forth.

...Holding one hand palm down in front of you whilst the other loosely swings from side to side above it as if you were waxing a table or perhaps admonishing a dog or horse.

”

Hehe, I guess I stand corrected

Perhaps she was secretly boosing Amy's level of Folic Acid and other vitamins to make sure she would get the best start in life.

This is one of my favourite posts ever. Just one question - can you make the "WAY-Hey" noise during the final action?

You could if you so desired, although the last time I saw this done by Dara O Briain (not first hand mind) I believed he prefered the phrase "Who's your daddy?".

Personally however I have never understood why asking a woman to pretend you are her father is beneficial at such a time.

Like a Tardis flying up a tunnel in the title sequence.

I actually imagined Matt Smith doing all of those whilst talking to River as I read that!

"way-hey, who's ya doctor?"
