Try changing the audio track on the blu-ray. Sounds as if you are missing the front centre channel from the audio downmix.

I changed the audio as above i got Movie conversation in 2.1 but there was a offal speak over on it if i bought a cheapish surround sound for the bedroom would this solve all the problems mind i dont want it costing as movies wont be watched all time in room as we normaly use the main tv in house for movies this is just a wee extra.

Found the problem the tv in the bed room is only sterio so i will have a look for a wee 5.1 surround seen one on tesco direct for under £20 wondering if it would do the job here it is here http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.204-1777.aspx please keep in mind this is not for anything fancy just normal play back of blu ray so the kids have another player to go to.

The spec is light on detail. Guessing that the kit needs a blu-ray player with 6 outputs (one for each channel including the subwoofer) you need to look to see if these exist.

At that price it's unlikely to have it's own 5.1 decoder.

Your BluRay player is prefectly capable of downmixing the 5.1/7.1 channels present on a BluRay disc to ordinary stereo via the HDMI.

Page 19/20 of the manual.

Press SETUP -> Audio Setting.

Scroll down to HDMI.

Change from BITSTREAM to PCM.

This will downsample the multichannel audio to stereo over the HDMI output.

No need to buy any extra equipment unless you actually DO want multichannel audio in your kids room.

Tried this earlier and the audio in he movie didn't come through, for some strange reason as its only a addition incase its needed i really dont want to go to the extra expense at this time if its not required .

For Example i have the Hangover movie on Blu Ray play it upstairs i can get it to a 2 channel out but then its the horribale voice over that annoying at that setting. Living Room is no problem blu ray is through the PS3 with again only the HDMI cable it it all works

The voiceover is likely to be directors commentary. It may be the company that produced the BluRay have mislabelled the audio tracks on the disc, perhaps labelling the commentary as the default track instead of the normal English audio track.

Can you select English Stereo or English 2.0 from the BluRay discs menu?. Try selecting the directors commentary which, if they have mislabelled it, could be the normal English soundtrack.

Can you try any other BluRays just to make sure?. If another couple work fine then it is likely to be a problem with that particular disc.
