Long time lurker, very rare poster, but thought I'de share a little speculation about the scene in the Stormcage where River refers to her blue diary and correctly identifies what's about too happen as "Demon's Run"

I've not seen this discussed anywhere else, hence the new thread, but I don't think it is her diary. It think it's Amy's diary (the blank one from The Big Bang), which is how River knows what's about to happen and how she knows this is when the Doctor finds out who she is - she's had the script all along, written by her mother!

Please feel free to publicly flagellate me for any breach of protocal regarding speculation and spoilers - I'm not really used to this!

I thought that after watching the big bang ep again although i'm pretty sure the doctor gives that very same diary (presumably) back to river just outside the TARDIS

I read somewhere they gave River the blank diary back, I didn't notice them do it though, maybe someone else could confirm?

Edit: Nvm, beaten to it.

The Doctor gives her diary back to her during the "Are you married?" "Are you asking?" conversation, just before she disappears after apologising that everything will change when he finds out who she is.

Oh well, it was a thought. Now to come up with some other theories that don't stand up to any scrutiny.
