Excellent news, the quote from cult box suggest that the storyline of series 5 and 6 will be wrapped up with a new one starting for series 7. Which is good news, not that I don't love what we have know but they do need to move on. Hope Amy and Rory return, but I don't think they will.

No . Next series will be two episodes (with three month cliff hanger between them , naturally ). Then 12 christmas specials, one for each "day" - featuring partridge , drummers , rings and lords leaping etc.

According to a poster on another forum the Radio Times tweeted that there would be 14 new episodes in 2012 then deleted the tweet and retweeted without the year being noted, just 14 new episodes.....make of that what you will.

You have to come up with a list of tities now - like "Ten Time Lords a leaping" and "Eight Sontarans a milking"

Moff just confirmed - Xmas plus 13.

I'll feel happier when we have the scheduling confirmed; could be the same as this year, could be a full 13 starting autumn 2012, they might even distribute the episodes across the winter of 2012/2013 with Xmas as the mid point, unlikely i know but possible.

The RT retracting 2012 is probably just an accident of typing, but you never know....hey, we worry because we care
