The Tardis loves the Doctor so could it have fused it's DNA whilst Melody was being conceived so it would have an avatar capable of being physically loved by the Doctor but in contact with the Tardis itself.

Just to change that idea a bit, what if the TARDIS was controlling herself in TPO?
She definitely has a motive for wanting River out of the way(jealousy), maybe even if it means she has to blow herself up..

I definatly think that the TARDIS has feelings,but it loves River,since she can fly it well,if the TARDIS could control itself,and feel jelous of River,then she would find it hard to control.

It would fit in with the ideas around Idris, Gangers and people being controlled from elsewhere. And it would definitely account for how River knew how to fly the Tardis - after all she did say that she'd had lessons from the best - and who better but the Tardis itself.
