There is a confirmed "Rose" reference this series. Have we had it yet? If not we may get a brief Rose flashback but it is hugely unlikely that she will be back full on as a character! Especially as she's admitted she is struggling to find work since her Call Girl series ended.

Hah. I had a late night and only recently woke up. Completely missed that! Christ...It'd be scary really - I mean when you consider how big her overbite was the last time she came back from a hiatus, it must be huge by now!

It has little credibility before the episodes are shown. Billie Piper has been put in quite a few episodes before their air-date, then taken out when she obviously hasn't appeared.

There has been a recent spate of dodgy entries in IMdb, and there have been numerous threads on this in this very forum. Do not trust IMdb, I believe someone from this very forum edited a character name to the name of another member of this forum to prove how easy it is to change entries...

never noticed that before thanks for pointing it out but it says there is one in series 6 too.

I thought that was meaning Amy - her hair colour. As Amy says it twice in that episode.

i did say im not sure but i assumed it was rose because it was past tense i think.

on the bbc/doctor who website the episode is on there shortly after the doctor discovers all the hypercubes.

Idris had a major problem with tenses all through the episode. She couldn't say goodbye or hello in the right order, either.

Remember, to her when she was a TARDIS things wouldn't run from one thing to the next - the TARDIS is everywhere in space and time, all at the same time. So everything that could happen or would happen is happening all at the same time to her.

Then she gets stuck inside a limited meat sack that only runs in 3 dimensions effectively, and the fourth at a snail's pace...

Of course she's not going to know which tense to use.

Agreed - there have been a number of increasingly silly entries going on and off IMDB - I reckon it's just some "anti" doing it so he can sit back and laugh when fans talk about so-and-so being in the series. Treat them as fake spoilers planted by unpleasant people until Moffat and Co release what they want us to know.

Some of the actors' names can be confirmed independently and reliably as appearing during the run (from their own or their agents websites) but not which episodes they are in or what characters they are playing - even so, that only applies to new actors - not regular or repeating ones.

As much as I am a big Rose fan and was all for her coming back as many times as they wanted while DT was still the Doctor it wouldn't work to bring her back now - Matt Smith isn't 'her' Doctor and the whole series has moved on.

The last thing I want to see is Billie Piper and Matt Smith together in "Doctor Who".

I'd love, however, to see them together once again as Sally Lockhart and Jim Taylor. Philip Pulmann wrote four "Sally Lockhart" novels and only the first two have been dramatised by the BBC, and magnificent they were too. Would love to see the remaining two dramatised as well.

indeed so but rose was seen in a faded nano second flashback in the lodger in the 20 maybe 30 minute mark you have to pause to see it.
