There was some saying that there would only be four episodes this series... Certainly doesnt look like it now.

Glad about the confirmation but I had no doubts it would be renewed. Too much good buzz about the show for the Beeb to cancel it. And it must make them a mint.

i have to say im glad matt smith is returning, i didnt think i would like anyone after DT as i loved him as the Dr but i am really loving Matt Smith now..

Great news. Smith and The Moff for one more year at least. Shame still no officially annocement on the spin off series of Madame Vastra Investigates. This is OUTRAGEOUS BBC....

Is it just me who thinks when the Moff says he "has a plan" this indicates the whole "Doctor/Spaceman" arc will run into next year . . .

I don't think so, I think it just means he's got a plan for the series. It could still be related to this arc though.
