Anyone tried these yet? they're surprisingly tasty, even if you're not a fan of the Jammie ones!

here is a good review:

I post stuff from my blog on here quite a bit, just think it's bit better to make it clear that you're pimping your own blog - especially when you say 'its a good review' (!)

I think it takes a fair amount of front to start a thread about your own blog posts

thanks for your opinion. you don't have to click on it if you don't want to.

Of course, nobody has to click on any link - my point was, don't you think its fairer to tell people when you say a review is 'good' (which is open to question, anyway) that its YOUR review, which you are touting?

Its not an opinion by the way, nobody likes spammers.

no, it is definately an opinion. sorry i didn't realise you made the rules round here. Now I know it's you who decides what is 'fair' and what isn't, I'll check with you first.

Surely sharing food reviews on a food forum isn't really SPAM anyway.

Now now children, play nicely!

Personally (and IMO) I have no problem with links to blogs, but agree with greedyrosie about it being made clear up front. I think it actually gives a FM more credibility by doing that (rather than keeping schtum and people finding out later at which point people may just consider them to be a spammer).

I can't imagine toffee dodgers, I think I might find them a little sickly sweet. Not overly keen on the jammie ones tbh, the jam is sooo sticky that you end up with sort of lumps in your teeth!

The only thing I like about the Toffee Dodgers (and Jammie and Choccie) are the monkeys - I love monkeys

I don't make the rules, I'm just pointing out the fallacy of your argument.
Maybe you're desperate for the traffic, I dunno, but starting a thread, every time you post? There are a few bloggers here - if we all did it, I'm sure the forum admin would start viewing it as spam pretty soon.

Edited to add, that is, of course, when you're not spamming links of your TV review blog...

I thought they were disgusting, quite frankly. I like all the other varieties (esp. the jam & custard ones), but the toffee ones were very gritty in texture and felt like I was eating a mouth full of sugar. Not pleasant at all.

I like your blog.

Not a fan of Toffee Dodgers though - I thought they'd be creamier than they were. They have a taste of burnt toffee to me. I will finish the packet though as they're the only biscuits I've got

Thanks GiraffeGirl - they do have a burnt toffee taste to them you're right. i think they've got little bits of toffee actually in the biscuit.

And there was me thinking this was a thread about people who avoid Toffee! lol

I haven't tried the toffee dodgers, I'm not a big toffee lover and they just don't look very appetising!
