If only I were 12 again.

And in Manchester.

Really? I mean it will probably be good but I thought the messages would mean more!

So they were just an advert - shame. (and shame on the BBC for using the site to advertise like that)

More to the point, the event being staged is for children from 6-12years old.

So...
a) If Doctor Who is touted as a Family Show and not a Children's Show then why such a specific and exclusive group (unaccompanied adults not allowed)?
b) The online marketing via the Fourth Dimension... who was that aimed at? I'm not sure the average six year old would have picked up on the hidden messages

Couldn't agree more, the show is supposed to be for everyone! Even the Adventure games, which were supposed to be for everyone, had incredibly dumbed down controls because they were aimed at children. Do people not realize that people over 12 watch the show too?

So, 6 year olds can go to see a live show based on a TV programme generally considered scary, and most of the time they won't even be allowed to have their parents go in with them? Perhaps it is just that I feel a bit miffed that everything is aimed at the kids (Blue Peter contests, write a Doctor Who mini scene, plays in Manchester - I mean, come on I'm 17! Im not an adult yet...) but having a 6 year old go somewhere alone, even if the parent is right outside the door...

Perhaps it's just memories of crying all the way through Charlottes Web when I was 6. Mum never took me to the theatre again.
