This seems odd to me. River stated to The Doctor about how they ran in Forest of the Dead I think, and the Doctor emphasised about how they ran to Lorna Bucket in AGMGTW...who kicked, err, the bucket.

I'm getting annoyed with all these coincidences and just can't be arsed, think I'm gonna watch Sun, Sea and A&E instead.

Loads of companions bring up how the Doctor tells them to 'run'. It's a thematic gag, not a coincidence.

Unless that forest was home to the Vashta Nerada - "The only thing to do is run" - in which case there is a Doctor/River connection (hopefully one for books rather than TV).
