Perhaps the Doctor Who Forum would be a better place to start?

Basically...
Spoiler
The doctor and his merry band rescued Amy but then they realised that the entire rescue was all part of the hallicination and that Amy and her baby (I think) were still captive somewhere else and the whole palava had all been a waste of time.

Queue some kind of Dallas-style reboot to a point prior to the start of this series, I guess.

Oh yeah, as others have said, it seems that Amy Pond's kid grows up to become River Song. Possibly.

You may get a better response if you post in one of the TV forums

Shouldn't this be in Cult?

The bad guys ran away, The baby turned into a puddle of goo. The only water in the forest was indeed the River and the Doctor sodded off in the Tardis leaving his companions stranded on a 51st(?) century asteroid.

Oh yes and Amy is the Doctors mother-in-law.

Cult is no more. It has ceased to be.

Was only the baby, they saved the real Amy.

I wasn't completely sure. I was cooking the dinner while it was on. I've been meaning to watch it again, properly.
Must say, though, I've found this series to be rather trite and shallow so I haven't really been that interested.

I know it's currently fashionable to slag off Russell T Davies but I reckon he was actually good at creating proper story-arc's whereas Steve Moffat is alright at creating individual episodes but he's not very good at creating a series-long sub-plots.

The ginger girl pulled a posy of Forget-me-Nots from her rectum and they all sang Come on Eileen in Dutch until Paddy McGuiness admitted that he killed River.

I saw it coming actually.

It ended with the guy who plays him saying "bugger this for a laugh, I'm off to the US to look for work".

I notice he's doing voice-overs for BUPA ad's now.

Doesn't really get any better than that if you ask me.

No Cult is now in TV shows that used to be the non-Americanised TV programmes unless the show is American and then it's not there but somewhere else.

Hope that clears things up.

If only!

They could then hire an actor to play the next one.

I've abandoned Dr Who because it abandoned me ..........

Instead of Deus Ex Machina, every week it's "next alternative universe filled with vampires please ........."

Yup I wasn't sure if you were a whiny old curmudgeon, now you've removed all doubt.

I take it you dislike both eras of the relaunched Who?
