River's 'flow'
Jay Faulkner

I'm pretty sure that this is pure specualtion, rather than any spoilers, as it is based on existing information.

Could River, after her death and 'input' into CAL (the supercomuter / virtual world in Silence in the Library) become the 'Papal Mainframe' and defacto 'power that is' / authority in the Church?

I realise that there is a rather large element of timey-wimey necessary to make it happen but I do think that Moffat is evil enough to make Melody the hero and villain at the same time.

I don't know if the word flow has the double meaning over there that is does here, but I was fairly sure I didn't want to read this post based on it's title

Not sure what the double meaning of the word "flow" is in America

I kinda meant it as in the literal sense of a river flowing, and figuratively in terms of time flow.

It's, um, something that happens to adult women once a month.

Surfing the crimson tide? (- A little nod to one of my favourite films of all time!)

Her 'time of the month', I'm assuming...

EDIT: dammit! I shouldn't have gloated about beating jonny to the punch in that other thread...

Karma is real, guys!

I thought this same thing regarding River and the Papal Mainframe. I had thought the voice of the mainframe was River's but some people said it wasn't when I posted earlier!

Still, I like your theory!

I assumed the voice we heard was the mainframe and not the PA system but as somebody pointed out earlier - probably not!
